Etruscans and Veneti: Deities, Sacred Waters, and Small Offerings to the Gods

8 November 2026 | 16:00

Guided Visit with Workshop for families

Workshop

Why did Titus Livy describe the Etruscans as “the most religious of all peoples”?

Let’s find out together through artefacts connected to the sacred world: bronze images of deities, terracotta votive offerings and objects associated with water rituals, a vital resource then as now, presented in dialogue with the traditions of the ancient Veneti people.

In the workshop, children create a set of miniature votive vessels inspired by the offerings deposited in ancient sanctuaries.
