Accessibility Statement

Fondazione Luigi Rovati ETS is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with Italian Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004.

This statement applies exclusively to the website www.fondazioneluigirovati.org.

Compliance Status

The website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements of the UNI CEI EN 301 549 standard due to the instances of non-compliance described below.

Non-accessible Content

The following instances of non-compliance have been identified.

1. Text Alternatives for Images

Some informative images lack appropriate text alternatives, and some decorative images are not correctly identified as such.

Relevant technical criterion: WCAG 1.1.1 “Non-text Content”, Level A.

Impact on users: people using screen readers may not receive the information conveyed by images or may encounter decorative elements incorrectly described as content.

2. Colour Contrast

In some sections, including the home page and the page dedicated to visits, the contrast between text and background does not meet the required standards.

Relevant technical criterion: WCAG 1.4.3 “Contrast (Minimum)”, Level AA.

Impact on users: some text may be difficult to read for people with low vision or colour vision deficiencies.

The affected pages and components are identified in the technical report dated 30 September 2026.

Remediation Measures and Temporary Support

Remediation work is being planned to correct text alternatives, identify decorative images appropriately and improve colour contrast.

The AccessiWay plugin is used as a temporary measure to support access to content and allow users to customise its visual presentation. This tool does not replace structural improvements to the website and does not, on its own, guarantee full compliance with accessibility requirements.

Users may request information in an accessible format and assistance with inaccessible content through the channels listed below.
