Olympic symbols:
continuity and innovation in a universal language

On the occasion of the exhibition THE OLYMPIC GAMES™. A 3000-Year History, Fondazione Luigi Rovati presents a series of talks dedicated to the values, histories, and multiple interpretations of the Olympic Games, from antiquity to the contemporary world.

Angelita Teo, Director of the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage, and Lucio Rovati, Honorary President of Fondazione Luigi Rovati, engage in a dialogue on the values and symbolism of the modern Olympic Games, exploring the meaning of iconic elements such as the torch, the Olympic rings, awards, and medals, in order to reflect on the cultural and symbolic legacy of the Games.

Closure for exhibition installation

The Art Museum will be closed to the public for exhibition installation from Monday 5 to Tuesday 13 October inclusive.

We look forward to welcoming you back on Wednesday 14 October for the new exhibition Etruschi e Veneti. Acque, culti e santuari (Etruscans and Veneti. Water, Cults and Sanctuaries).
