Fondazione Luigi Rovati supports the Italy Pavilion
Fondazione Luigi Rovati supports the Italy Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, taking place from 9 May to 22 November 2026, by contributing to Con te con tutto, a project by Chiara Camoni curated by Cecilia Canziani.
Â
Promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Pavilion proposes a collective reflection on our way of inhabiting the world, grounded in relationships, listening, and sharing among human beings and other forms of life, as well as on an artistic practice understood as a process, in dialogue with the Biennale’s overarching theme, In Minor Keys.
The Foundation’s support renews its relationship with Chiara Camoni, who previously participated in the exhibition Tesori etruschi. La collezione Castellani tra storia e moda (2023–2024) and whose work is now part of the permanent collection.
In addition to its role as Donor, Fondazione Luigi Rovati contributes to the project through the loan of an Etruscan SOS-type amphora (late 7th century BCE) from its collection, included in the exhibition itinerary within the Dialogues section. On its shoulder is the graffito inscription kalós (“beautiful”); on its sides appears an open-winged butterfly motif which, in the Greek world, alludes to the psyché — both butterfly and soul — evoking the passage to the afterlife. The presence of the artefact highlights cultural heritage as a living source of knowledge and inspiration, capable of generating new connections and fostering a shared reflection between past and present.
