Three years at the Art Museum

In just three years of activity, the Fondazione Luigi Rovati has established itself internationally as a reference point for culture, art, and research.

A place of beauty and inclusion, open to diverse audiences.

The Foundation has developed an extensive program of exhibitions, accompanied by lectures and conferences and the publication of catalogues and essays. It has also promoted educational initiatives through workshops for children, school programs, and the organization of guided tours of the museum. With the creation of the Museo Gentile project, it has made the museum experience accessible to all, with special attention to fragile and vulnerable people.

The visitor satisfaction index averaged 90% on a scale from 0 to 100.

Innovation has been a constant feature of this journey: from cutting-edge technologies to the digital solutions of the Fondazione Luigi Rovati Platform. These achievements have been recognized with major awards, such as the Compasso d’Oro ADI 2024 for excellence in exhibition design, the iF DESIGN AWARD, and the Red Dot Design Award for the innovative value of its digital platform. In addition, the Foundation has been recognized by the Federazione Alzheimer Italia as a Dementia Friendly institution, a testament to its inclusive vision.

On the institutional side, among the most important milestones are the registration in the National Third Sector Registry (RUNTS) in November 2024 and, in the same year, the Museum’s inclusion in the Abbonamenti Musei and YesMilano City Pass networks, further strengthening its integration into the region’s cultural landscape.

Three years after its inauguration, the Fondazione Luigi Rovati Art Museum stands today as a living institution in constant evolution.
