Economic and social research

Fondazione Luigi Rovati develops economic and social research activities aimed at understanding the interactions of the public and various stakeholders with artworks, projects, and exhibition spaces.

It promotes projects focused on the study of social and cultural behaviorscontent accessibility, and the evaluation of the economic and social impact of cultural design activities.

The Foundation carries out analyses and economic measurements of the value generated by its activities. These concern, in particular, the value of economic and social impact, the effects on the public and reputational values, as well as the relationship with the territory and the various communities of reference. Such research activities help define strategic development models within the field of cultural economics, which are also shared across different cultural, public, and private networks.

The strategic development of research use focuses on building and evolving relationship models between the public and cultural content. From the analysis of the visitor experience, a model of stimulus, engagement, and responseamong different audiences emerges. These models can guide hypotheses and strategies in cultural design. Special attention is given to identifying the analytical components of satisfaction that most influence the overall evaluation of the experience.

This integrated approach makes it possible to build a strategic framework through which to identify the most effective levers to enhance the strengths and weaknesses of cultural design and to address its critical elements, continuously improving the quality of the relationship with the public.
