Library

The Library of the Foundation, opened in Monza in December 2020, preserves and makes available for consultation books and documents related to the fields of archaeology—particularly Etruscology—as well as art and science.  Acquisitions and donations continue to enrich its holdings, which today include more than 17,000 volumes, along with excerpts and journals.

The collection is specifically divided among scientific texts and journals, volumes on Etruscology, art, and archaeology, landscape history, ancient topography, history of religions, history manuals and disciplines of antiquity, Greek and Latin sources, and works on the geography of the ancient world, in addition to major periodicals. Complementing this is a substantial collection of art essays, with a focus on contemporary art.

In synergy with the Museum, the Library holds over 16,000 volumes, including:

  • scientific texts and journals

  • books on Etruscology, art, and archaeology

  • studies on landscape history and ancient topography

  • works on the history of religions

  • history manuals and texts on ancient disciplines

  • Greek and Latin sources

  • books on the geography of the ancient world

  • major academic periodicals

 

The Library is located in via Valosa di Sopra 9, Monza and it is open by appointment, daily:
from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM
from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM
