New technologies and therapy: the TIMELAPSE experience for patient wellbeing

29 November 2025 | 14:00

Conference Free access

Is it possible to leverage some of the most innovative contemporary technologies to improve the well-being of people undergoing therapy?

On the afternoon of Saturday 29 November, experts from the healthcare and technology sectors, together with the TIMELAPSE project team, will discuss this question, starting with the first public presentation of Track of Time, a virtual reality (VR) application developed with the aim of accelerating the perceived time during long-term infusion treatments, such as chemotherapy.

The public will have the opportunity to preview the VR application, which fully passed the quality and tolerability test during clinical trials and proved to be an effective tool for improving the passage of time.

This will be followed by a round table discussion bringing together healthcare professionals, patients and stakeholders from the worlds of medicine and technology to discuss how new technologies and different creative forms can be used to tangibly improve patient well-being.
