The Figure of Luigi Rovati

The Carrara marble statue welcomes visitors at the entrance: it is the portrait of Luigi Rovati (1928–2019), after whom Fondazione Luigi Rovati is named, a physician, researcher and pharmaceutical entrepreneur, Knight of Labour and Knight of the Grand Cross of Merit of the Italian Republic. Today, sensitivity to history, archaeology and research inspires Fondazione Luigi Rovati, which develops its ideas on a continuum between art and science.
